Hello, my name is Lane and welcome to Mesozoic Memoirs! I started this website to pursue my own love of science, paleontology, and discovery, passions I’ve had since childhood. Growing up in the beautiful landscapes of Montana allowed my passion for dinosaurs to flourish, as the state’s remarkable geological history continually sparked my curiosity. With the Museum of the Rockies being just a day trip for my family, I made sure that we visited as often as possible, exploring its rich collections and engaging exhibits that deepened my understanding of prehistoric life.

Now that I have three children of my own, it’s more important than ever to me that they can access knowledge of Earth’s past and the newest discoveries in paleontology all in one place, fostering their eagerness to learn and discover the wonders of our planet’s history. I believe that sharing this treasure trove of information will ignite a similar passion in them and hopefully create lasting memories as they delve into the fascinating world of dinosaurs.
